With 1,048 lakes in our county, we have to do a great job in the resorting industry. Resorts represent everything from fancy, upscale lodges where you are queen (or king) for the day to quaint cottages where nobody but you need ever cross the threshold. The Otter Tail Lakes Country Tourism Association even lets you check availability and make reservations on-line. May we recommend Fisherman's Village ResortEast Silent Lake Resort or Thumper Pond.

Fergus Falls also has easy interstate access and beautiful parks which makes camping a favorite for many visitors. We offer tent and RV camping in DeLagoon Park. Campground fees are $10.00 a night for tents, $20.00 a night for campers. Camper hook-ups have water and electric, a maximum stay of 3 nights is enforced. For further information contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 218-739-3205. Elks Point campground is just five mile from Fergus Falls and also offers beautiful lakeside camping May-September. In Fergus Falls, a dump station is located at the Holiday station on Lincoln Avenue near SunMart grocery store. Two state parks within a 20-minute drive of Fergus Falls offer tent camping and camper cabins. Maplewood State Park and Glendalough State Park are staffed year-round for visitor services.
